2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social
Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the
Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into
the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the
American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all
Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and
participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the
American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void
effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this
contract with Congressmen/women.

Congressmen/women made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in
Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers
envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their
term(s), then go home and back to work.

Folks looks like we have reached the tipping point.

Actually, this is why I live in Bora Bora. Don't bother coming for a visit, I won't be home. I'm down at the beach doing push ups with the girls.

Mea culpa to everyone. I have been absent from the blog
for a very long time. Here’s the deal: I wanted to see if I
could do push ups around the world. You know what I
mean? It was one of my burning ambitions. Some gluttons
want to see how many Nathans hot dogs they can shove
in their mouth. Me, I wanted to do push ups from
Bora Bora to Bora Bora and all places in between. It
takes a lot of time and push ups to accomplish that
journey.

When one is doing push ups around the world,
you are going to come across some weird people.
Yeah, strange coming from a push up guru, est bon?
I really have a lot of interesting adventures to relate.
Such as when I was  almost run over by this idiot
dragging a cross down a highway in Colorado on
the west side of La Veta Pass between Walsenburg
and Fort Garland. So I stood up to speak to him.
Believe it not he was coherent.

This guy, who will remain nameless, was dressed in a gown made out of burlap bags, wore sandals, and
a rope tied around his waist. He also had an old Army surplus knapsack on his back and a plastic milk
jug filled with water tied to it. The cross was pine with two gate handles attached and two lawnmower type
wheels on the bottom end. All the better to drag around your cross. He had a scraggly beard, long hair,
was unwashed (I would guess for years), smelled worse than and old goat and had a mouth full of
rotting teeth. I thought he was in his late fifties but he did tell me he was thirty-eight years old.

Here’s the good part of the conversation:

I:  Hello brother!
Him:  Hello to you also brother.
I:  Sure is a hot day to be carrying that cross.
Him:  I don’t mind, I’m doing this for Jesus.

Now this is where it gets scary.

I:  Why would you do that for Jesus.
Him:  Because he died on it for our sins.
I:  You mean he died on that cross you’re holding?
Him:  No, the cross of Jesus is a symbol of our Lord’s love for us.
I:  But, I don’t understand how dragging this symbol down the road does anything for anyone.

By this time he had laid his burden down (pun intended) and moved off the highway shoulder under a
tree.

Him:  It is for my salvation and the salvation of others.
I:  Then you are doing this for yourself?
Him:  No (with just a hint of an edge to his voice),  not just for myself for the salvation of men.
I:  Only men? What about women?
Him:  Men, as in mankind,  that includes women (no smile from him).
I:  What if I told you I was God come back to visit my children in an earthly form, would you believe me?
Him:  Of course not. God doesn’t need to take an earthly form to be among us. That’s blasphemy.
I:  Well then, if God doesn’t need to take an earthly form, and Jesus is supposed to be the son of God,
then the Virgin Mary is a hoax and Jesus was a fraud which makes Christianity a lie. So you’re dragging that
cross around for nothing but exercise.

I kid you not, that man let out a string of explicative that would make a Marine blush. I started to
take the prone position getting back to the push ups when he threw a rock at me.  A modern-day version
of stoning the whore. By the way did you know that the story of the stoning the a whore does not appear
in the original Biblical text? He missed me by a mile. I turned around and start walking in his direction
calling him a little shit. That was when he took off running through the sage without his cross. He never
looked back and disappeared in a distant cloud of dust. Noting that it was hollow and very light (there is
something intriguingly philosophical in that observation), I propped the cross up on the tree we had been
standing under. Then I got back down to the business of returning to Bora Bora and pushed off.  He was
still nowhere in sight.

On the one hand, we look for the flight attendants to be professionals that are there to insure passenger comfort, respond to in cabin emergencies and provide passenger safety. They are the face of the airline company. We may see the captain and copilot at the beginning and end of the flight but that’s about it. We are captive in an aluminum tube hurtling through the atmosphere at 35,000 feet with nothing but a hardened door to the cockpit at which to stare, except for our gracious flight attendants. These low paid and under appreciated workers are the buffer between the airlines and you the paying passenger. They are responsible for enforcing the rules that your government has mandated, the glories of the ignominious Patriot Act in action. With all this responsibility and the impact of the stresses daily life in our militarist society places on them they are still held to I higher standard of conduct than the passengers. This is to be expected it is their job.

Now, about the asshole flying public. Most passengers are compassionate and considerate humans. Unfortunately there is a small vocal jerk-off part of our population that respects no one including the rules. They are the problem. From reports it appears that Steven Slater was hit in the head by luggage being retrieved by a passenger from the overhead bin. The passenger was out of their seat while the plane was in route to the terminal. A violation of Federal flight rules. We don’t know what words were exchanged but it is evident the passenger was a surly shit that refused to apologize for their actions. Slater lost it. I would have smacked the offensive passenger and really given the police a reason to arrest me.

So what is the worse thing Steven Slater did? Well, he cussed out the passenger, as if passengers don’t cuss out flight attendants. He grabbed a couple of beers, big deal! He popped the emergency chute and skedaddled home. How many times has the airlines held you on a hot steamy, packed flight on a tarmac just so they could appear to get away from the gate on time with no intention of taking off for the next three hours? Did you ever wish you could run to the front of the plane, pull open the emergency chute and skedaddle home? Honest now.

Our society has become a frustrating maze of rules and regulations. Do this, don’t do that, behave yourself or we will classify you as a terrorist, take away your family, destroy your life and throw your mangy Citizen of the United States butt in a cell. No wonder the general population is so frustrated with Washington and government. Hey, all you Senators, Representatives, state and local officials, get the damn hell out of our lives. The constitution does not provide for the intrusion of government in our lives, isn’t that the reason we had a revolution in the first place? We the cattle in order to, whatever. The passenger and Slater are a product of our society. We are not the most Democratic nation in the world. Nope we are way down the list and what is being done to us as a nation was fostered by the angst Slater and the passenger were feeling. I know that is conjecture, drawing conclusions by inference but that’s my opinion and deep down you know I am right.

Steven Slater is an example of manifest abuse by an unsympathetic, inconsiderate and rude flying public. Not all of you but some of you. He did to that passenger what many of us have thought and he threw away a twenty-eight year career as a flight attendant which many of us would love to do with our meaningless boring jobs. As this moves through the news media and Slater is given his first interview with Matt Blah Blah or Barbara Wah Wah, we will find out that it is a case of being frustrated and unappreciated. Both of which are a fact of American life.

The next time you have the opportunity to say thank you, please, I’m sorry or I beg your pardon, do it. Even though civility is a word that most of the younger generation does not understand at least you cranky inconsiderate dweeb tax payers can try to express the values you should have been taught when a youth. Be considerate of one another. We are in this together and we are all we have. It will make you feel better and promote a less stressful life because believe me, it’s going to get worse.

Please take your seats, buckle your seat belts as we prepare for takeoff.

Change.org says people download Crush videos and view them for sexual gratification: The sexual perversion is called “paraphelia”. Even children can access these sick materials simply by downloading them, perhaps out of curiosity. It’s not hard to find such sites on the Internet with any search engine-keep in mind it’s legal to download and watch. Adults download them, and can even show their children such materials (if an adult is sick enough to view these, they will show their children as well). If The Supreme Court says, okay fine. It’s free speech.

As a society we have laws that make it a crime to possess pictures and/or other materials considered child pornography. But, our supreme court says that impaling bound kittens and puppies with a pair of stiletto high heels is “Freedom of Speech”.

We do not legalize or condone one of the world’s oldest profession, prostitution. But, our supreme court says that crushing under foot bound kittens and puppies for the sexual pleasure of masturbating perverts is “Freedom of Speech”.

We do not allow cock fighting or dog fighting it is a violation of our animal cruelty laws yet listening to the screams of helpless kittens and puppies video taped and disseminated on the Internet is “Freedom of Speech.”

Health Care personnel can really get into trouble for not reporting observed probability of abuse and molestation on a child patient. Really? Yep it’s the law. Coaches and teachers get sent to prison for molesting their young charges. Just let that demented old man down the street brush up against a thirteen year old and see how fast his tookis gets hauled to the slammer.

But priests, well now, all they have to do is repent, molest, repent, molest, repent, you get the picture. Folks we have laws against this type of behavior. However, law enforcement, prosecuting attorneys, and our wonderful courts system do not have the cajones to do their jobs. I don’t mean the lawsuits, lawyers are making piles of cash off those, I mean” WHY AREN’T THESE PRIEST ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH THE CRIMES THEY HAVE COMMITTED. Let’s send a bunch of them to prison for a little R and R repenting.

Am I picking on Catholics and priests, no! Where I live, wouldn’t you like to know, we occasionally have a preacher or church youth leader arrested for child abuse. But, I have never seen a priest arrested although they are also in the news here. Something is wrong in Mudville.

An Arizona man who has waged a 10-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal immigrants from crossing his property is being sued by 16 Mexican nationals who accuse him of conspiring to violate their civil rights when he stopped them at gunpoint on his ranch on the U.S.-Mexico border. Roger Barnett, 64, began rounding up illegal immigrants in 1998 and turning them over to the U.S. Border Patrol, he said, after they destroyed his property, killed his calves and broke into his home. His Cross Rail Ranch near Douglas, Ariz., is known by federal and county law enforcement authorities as “the avenue of choice” for immigrants seeking to enter the United States illegally. Trial continues Monday in the federal lawsuit, which seeks $32 million in actual and punitive damages for civil rights violations, the infliction of emotional distress and other crimes. Also named are Mr. Barnett’s wife, Barbara, his brother, Donald, and Larry Dever, sheriff in Cochise County, Ariz., where the Barnetts live. The civil trial is expected to continue until Friday. The lawsuit is based on a March 7, 2004, incident in a dry wash on the 22,000-acre ranch, when he approached a group of illegal immigrants while carrying a gun and accompanied by a large dog. Attorneys for the immigrants – five women and 11 men who were trying to cross illegally into the United States – have accused Mr. Barnett of holding the group captive at gunpoint, threatening to turn his dog loose on them and saying he would shoot anyone who tried to escape. The immigrants are represented at trial by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), which also charged that Sheriff Dever did nothing to prevent Mr. Barnett from holding their clients at “gunpoint, yelling obscenities at them and kicking one of the women.

America is under assault

There is something very wrong when a bunch of criminals, yes criminals, can sue a man for defending his property and the sovereign borders of the United States.

As a nation we are losing some of the basic principles. When did  illegal aliens have more rights than a tax paying citizen of the United States? Try sneaking into Mexico and getting caught. YOU GO TO JAIL. Mexicans protect their border with Guatemala to stop illegals from coming into their country. Yet they decry the efforts of an American citizen from doing the same.

Where’s our glorified Homeland Security? Aren’t they supposed to protect the borders of the United States from invasion? The border patrol is understaffed and overworked yet go to an airport and try to sneak past the layers there. YOU GET ARRESTED. The MALDEF and the group of 16 Mexican nationals are the ones that should be on trial. Maybe if we started putting some of these border crossing criminals in jail doing hard time labor we could stop some of this. I lived in Arizona and have been to the border area seeing the mess these people leave behind. A trail of trash as far as you can see. I also had a friend in the border patrol that related to me what was going on at our southern border and folks it is scary.

All the do gooders in the world can rant until they pass out from exhaustion but these illegals are criminals. Notice the phrase “illegal aliens” does not carry a footnote about how these persons have “a right” to invade our nation. The Mexican drug cartels are killing government officials, soldiers, policemen, and innocent citizens. If you do not believe that the cartels are using illegal border crossing Mexicans as mules then you are foolish and naive. If the Mexican government would get their act together and their people had values and principles that did not allow this conduct maybe then we could have a civil and legal process to allow these persons into the US.

Madder than hell

I can’t write anymore. I’m madder than hell. This will end up being a tirade, which appears it already is. This whole mess stinks, it should have been thrown out as a frivolous lawsuit. One other thing, I speak Spanish and work with legal Latinos. They don’t like what is happening either. They came to this country legally and resent the illegals coming across the border.

Now, I know this is going to get all you bleeding hearts excited. Frankly, I don’t give a damn! You are part of the problem. You lack the ability to understand the word “illegal”. Look it up.
