Healthcare competition is good for America

We are Americans. We call ourselves that great shining light of Democracy and we are the only industrialized world nation that does not provide some form of  health care for all its citizens. Why? Because the medical industry and all its minions of 666 beasts (lobbyist and they are evil) have gained up with certain politicians to maintain status quo. Keep it like it is because it makes them lots of money on your misery and suffering. Several of the nations everyone is claiming have bad healthcare system are rated above the US of A in benefit to their citizens. You are being served a bill of goods and frankly I am tired of all the self interest groups airing commercials and hiding behind crap names like “Club for Growth”. Who are they? What damn growth. I am mad as hell. I’m tired of lies, innuendos and warping of the truth. There are a lot of our fellow Americans that don’t have the intelligence to differentiate fact from fiction.

What the hell is Medicare and Medicade

Oh, oh, and by the way: What do you informed citizens out there call Medicare and Medicade if not a government health program? Geez! Stop listening to Glenn Beck (uninformed hack of the Republican Party) and Rush Limbaugh (consummate user and supporter of  healthcare industry pharmacology). Think for yourself. Don’t listen to the radical for profit mouth pieces play on your fears. They are talk show mongers and they warp the truth to inflame you so you will believe anything said. They get paid to do it! Here’s the story

An Arizona man who has waged a 10-year campaign to stop a flood of illegal immigrants from crossing his property is being sued by 16 Mexican nationals who accuse him of conspiring to violate their civil rights when he stopped them at gunpoint on his ranch on the U.S.-Mexico border. Roger Barnett, 64, began rounding up illegal immigrants in 1998 and turning them over to the U.S. Border Patrol, he said, after they destroyed his property, killed his calves and broke into his home. His Cross Rail Ranch near Douglas, Ariz., is known by federal and county law enforcement authorities as “the avenue of choice” for immigrants seeking to enter the United States illegally. Trial continues Monday in the federal lawsuit, which seeks $32 million in actual and punitive damages for civil rights violations, the infliction of emotional distress and other crimes. Also named are Mr. Barnett’s wife, Barbara, his brother, Donald, and Larry Dever, sheriff in Cochise County, Ariz., where the Barnetts live. The civil trial is expected to continue until Friday. The lawsuit is based on a March 7, 2004, incident in a dry wash on the 22,000-acre ranch, when he approached a group of illegal immigrants while carrying a gun and accompanied by a large dog. Attorneys for the immigrants – five women and 11 men who were trying to cross illegally into the United States – have accused Mr. Barnett of holding the group captive at gunpoint, threatening to turn his dog loose on them and saying he would shoot anyone who tried to escape. The immigrants are represented at trial by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), which also charged that Sheriff Dever did nothing to prevent Mr. Barnett from holding their clients at “gunpoint, yelling obscenities at them and kicking one of the women.

America is under assault

There is something very wrong when a bunch of criminals, yes criminals, can sue a man for defending his property and the sovereign borders of the United States.

As a nation we are losing some of the basic principles. When did  illegal aliens have more rights than a tax paying citizen of the United States? Try sneaking into Mexico and getting caught. YOU GO TO JAIL. Mexicans protect their border with Guatemala to stop illegals from coming into their country. Yet they decry the efforts of an American citizen from doing the same.

Where’s our glorified Homeland Security? Aren’t they supposed to protect the borders of the United States from invasion? The border patrol is understaffed and overworked yet go to an airport and try to sneak past the layers there. YOU GET ARRESTED. The MALDEF and the group of 16 Mexican nationals are the ones that should be on trial. Maybe if we started putting some of these border crossing criminals in jail doing hard time labor we could stop some of this. I lived in Arizona and have been to the border area seeing the mess these people leave behind. A trail of trash as far as you can see. I also had a friend in the border patrol that related to me what was going on at our southern border and folks it is scary.

All the do gooders in the world can rant until they pass out from exhaustion but these illegals are criminals. Notice the phrase “illegal aliens” does not carry a footnote about how these persons have “a right” to invade our nation. The Mexican drug cartels are killing government officials, soldiers, policemen, and innocent citizens. If you do not believe that the cartels are using illegal border crossing Mexicans as mules then you are foolish and naive. If the Mexican government would get their act together and their people had values and principles that did not allow this conduct maybe then we could have a civil and legal process to allow these persons into the US.

Madder than hell

I can’t write anymore. I’m madder than hell. This will end up being a tirade, which appears it already is. This whole mess stinks, it should have been thrown out as a frivolous lawsuit. One other thing, I speak Spanish and work with legal Latinos. They don’t like what is happening either. They came to this country legally and resent the illegals coming across the border.

Now, I know this is going to get all you bleeding hearts excited. Frankly, I don’t give a damn! You are part of the problem. You lack the ability to understand the word “illegal”. Look it up.

yo hamas….you brought it on your people

Has the whole world gone mad? Why do leaders of nations and populations seem so complacent in forgiving the actions of terrorists then condemning the actions of a sovereign nation protecting its citizens?

The Gaza Strip had a democratically elected government. The population elected members of the radical terrorist group Hamas to represent them in their Palestinian government. Hamas takes over the government and starts attacking Israel with rockets. A cease fire is signed then Hamas breaks it and continues to assault Israel.

None of the Arab nations rose up condemning Hamas. None of the pacifists crying “those poor Palestinian people being attack by Israel”, have ever gotten off their fat asses and condemned Hamas for their attacks. Israel has been subjected to suicide bombers, kidnapping of soldiers and citizens. They have removed Jewish settlers from land and buildings that belong to the Palestinian people all the while under attack form Hamas and other Islamic radicals.

Where is the justice and equality of reason that applies the same standards to terrorists, mad suicide bombers, and Hamas that Israel is being criticized for not following? Suppose a group of Cubans decided to start shooting rockets into Key West? How long would it take before the U.S. to started shooting back. Or, your neighbor builds a cow pie catapult in the backyard and starts hurling cow dung over the fence into your yard. Are you going to take it? Hell no! Not unless it’s high grade bullshit and great for your lawn.

What’s all the fuss about? Let Israel clean the vermin out of the Strip. The world is becoming very dangerous for everyone. It will continue to get worse if groups like Hamas don’t get their terrorist asses kicked into Paradise.

I do not condone the civilian deaths. However, Hamas has placed their offensive facilities in among the same people for whom they claim to be fighting. It is Hamas that is responsible for creating the situation where their women, children, and innocent male Palestinians are dying. Hamas is at the center of creating the contentious and dangerous environment among their own people. These are the same terrorist as Al-Qeada hiding behind women and children. Where is Allah when you need him?

The Palestinians have real grievances that need to be addressed. However, when they choose to throw a temper tantrum each time they do not get their way, if they choose to attack their neighbors because of their grievances, then they have to be prepared for the consequences. Consequence is what they are receiving in Gaza from Israel.

President of the United States, then Governor of Texas, salutes the camera

The long dark nightmare of the United States is about over. No more Bush family in the White House. Jeb, forget about it. I really think we need a constitutional amendment banning anyone in the Bush family from ever holding a National office again. Once you get rid of a cancer you sure don’t want to welcome it back!

Where’s the diversity?

Watching the election returns on the evening of November 4, I noticed a marked difference in the people attending each political party official election watch gathering. The Republican gathering was by invitation only and had what appeared to be a few hundred people. The Democrat gathering was open to everyone and appeared to have close to half a million.

The evident lack of diversity in the persons attending McCains party was a stark contrast to the Obama shindig at Grant Park. People gathered in Grant Park were from a multitude of ethnic backgrounds. Now, that is a true representation of the United States.

The above is one of the things that really concerns me about McCain-Palin: The lack of diversity and the almost maniacal concentration of WASP America. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a member of the WASP club myself however I recognize that America is changing. There is no stopping that change and it would be idiotic to even contemplate diverting the nature process occurring. It’s just that people generally associate with their own clan. McCain-Palin seemed to be a clan of exclusion while Obama-Biden opened the doors of their house to everyone. Inclusion of everyone is what a true Democracy is all about.

One more Limbaugh-Coulter tirade

Oh, let’s not forget the wackos on the radio. The rabid Limbaugh Lamebrains and the Coulter Clowns spewing their, “If Obama is elected we are going to have race riots!” That is terrorist rhetoric!!! Where is Homeland Security when you need them? Wow, I just had a brain storm. We need to get Limbaugh and Coulter together. A skinny broad and a fat middle aged balding pompous ass (as in jackass). Mr. and Mrs. Jackass. What a pair! Maybe the the warped minds that listen to this motor-mouth drivel would not be confused with trying to dial in their radios. They would only have one place to go. Just put it on the dial position marked “Cesspool of Thought.”

America, you did good

Will Obama be a good President? I think so, he can’t be worse than the one we have just lived through. Will he make mistakes? Duh, yes! Everyone does. I would rather give him the benefit of doubt and see what he can do. Bush had eight years to screw up the nation, fixing it will not happen over night. Obama is going to step on some toes, do somethings you may not agree with, but then he cannot satisfy everyone. I do like his first order of business, reining in the lobbyists trying to get a piece of him.

Isn’t it ironic that the greatest percentage of dollars raised by the Obama-Biden Campaign came from average Americans? Most Americans know when a politician is blowing smoke up their skirts.

Corporatocracy…..government bought by corporations and money lenders

I do hope you vote. The nation’s rich expect it, the banks expect it, the lobbyist expect it, the major national and world corporations expect it. What they want out of you is your choice for president so they will know which one to manipulate. So choose!

Our congress does not have a clue as to how to run this nation. Any future president is even more clueless. But big money does. They know exactly how to run the government. Their way. Electing a president from one of the two running is electing a person previously approved by big money for President of The United States . No one ever makes it this far without the hand of finance in one pocket and the corruption of corporate profits in the other. It doesn’t matter whether you elect McCain or Obama, both are already bought and paid for. The lobbyist are lining up, they just need for you to tell them in which line they should stand.

Vote, after all it’s your corporate duty. Democracy cannot survive without corporate corruption and greed. What we have just seen with the mortgage debacle is only the tip of the iceberg. You’ll never see the rest of that chunk of controlling wealth. Look at it this way, 1% or the world’s population controls 40% of the world’s wealth. We may not be in chains  but we are in bondage to credit and credit is owned by the money lenders and money lenders are owned by the robber barons at the top of the food chain.

So vote! That 1% expects you to! Yessa massa, I be votin.

This morning an acquaintance offered the comment, “Well in five days get ready for socialism!”

My response was, “What makes you think we are not already a socialist nation?”

Living Socialism

Whenever a nation takes on the paternal attitude that it has to bailout anyone and everyone it is socialism. Whenever a nation subsidises farmers, automobile manufactures, buys into a nations banking system, it is socialism. Whenever a government sends you a check to stimulate buying, it is socialism. Whenever a government legislates handouts of food, housing, clothes, gratuitous jobs, it is socialism.

We have been practicing socialism since the 1930’s. Our government is our Daddy Warbucks (literally). Every time you get a freebie from Uncle Sam or your state, it is socialism. If we were truly a Capitalistic Democracy we would let the market place work it out. Do we? Hell no! It’s socialism.

The Real Deal Problem

As for this big money problem this nation is having, along with the rest of the world, everyone has forgotten the legislation that congress passed a decade ago. Your own government brought this upon you by effectively abolishing the laws and controls put in place on the financial industry from the last depression created by the collapse of banks and the stock market.

Lobbyist are the Bottom Feeders

The other thing you have to consider is the massive lobby effort focused on politicians by the financial industry. That includes Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac. Folks, the day that congress stops all the corruption and special interest influence peddling lobbyist business, the better this country will be. Hey, who represents you. Who is lobbying on your behalf? Duh. How do you think oil, banks, automobile companies, and fat cat billionaires get what they want? Because they have your interest at heart? No, because of the incessant rain of lobbying in congress and the corruption of the god almighty dollar. Greed, mendacity, and the fornication of the American middle class. Get rid of the damn lobbyist. Jeez!

Crabby Guy or Decency?

I did vote early for Obama. Not because I am a Democrat, a Republican or any other label that gets slapped on people. I never voted for Bush, either one of them. Their words were hollow and made me have sleepless nights. I voted for Obama because I believe he is fifty percent a person for the people. The other fifty percent belongs to special interest groups and good ole boy influences. We cannot suffer through another four to eight years of what we have experience the past eight. We have to get off our knees and win back the respect of the rest of the world. We have to get back in the mainstream of leadership and quit this Chicken Little mentality of everyone is out to get us. After all, isn’t that the way it has always been. This country was created by immigrants and slaves including the slavery of the Native American population. It will be immigrants that continue to come here that will change it again and they will do it through the ballot box. If you don’t believe that watch what happens on November 4.

Greatness or Mediocrity

Whether you like it or not, there is a new age coming for this nation. You can be a part of it or you can be the problem that holds us back. I would rather contribute to keeping the United States of America the moral, ethical, and democracy leader in the world. The past eight years the Bush administration has done a lousy job of maintaining any semblance of greatness in the world other that destroying other nations and killing innocent women and children as well as creating a chasm of grieving parents.

Do something right for a change! Vote decency back into our government.

I work in an office where one of my fellow workers listens to Rush Limbaugh. What drivel.

Limbaugh is a buffoon, a racist, a loud mouth hyena. After listening to a rant by this ass, I now realize how perverted the thinking of people who admire and hold this jackass in esteem. This is not about politics or who one should vote for president of this country, it is about the poison this snake Limbaugh hisses in the ear of so many Americans. He is a virus upon the intellect. A cesspool of ignorance and deviant viewpoints. He is such a warped degenerate. It is difficult to believe he is not a comedy show of perversion than the cancer upon the conscience of a nation that he is.

A little arsenic fed bit by bit will eventually kill anyone swallowing it. Limbaugh is a full blown epidemic of vile poisonous sputum that sickens the spirit, warps the capacity to think clearly, and definitely trashes any patriot notion of what the soul of our citizenry represents. I firmly believe that listeners to and followers of this Satan have lost their ability to reason.

We in this country do not have the time nor the need for this backhanded cheap hypocrite that has made millions off untruths, ambiguity, and out right lies. He is intolerable. Listening to him rant about what he hates is the fuel that gives reason for activism to supremacists and Neo Nazis in this country as well as elsewhere in the world.

The immorality of his pulpit of hate is beyond belief. Limbaugh is no better than Jim Jones only he is assisting in the  killing of the heart and soul of our great nation. He is an embarrassment and blemish upon everything that is American. This man should not be allowed to wrap himself in the great flag of the United States that so many have given their lives to defend only to suffer Limbaugh’s besmirching commentary.

This man dodged military service because he had an ingrown hair on his butt, an anal cyst. That is the truth folks. Evidently he still has it and his arse has migrated to his brain. This jackass with the butt condition criticized John Kerry and others over their military or lack of military service. The man is a fraud. I’m a verteran and I signed up because I wanted to defend and represent my country. How convenient for Rush that his ass hurt him so bad he couldn’t serve. Rush you get your butt healed then join the military. Where was your doctor when you needed him? Oh you dodged the draft, you really didn’t want to serve in the military, to serve our country, to be a real patriot, you just want to degrade those that did serve. Welllll, exxxxcuuuuse, me!

Soap box time so I apologize to the reader before I start!

I’ve been depressed lately. Gas has gone up, food prices are up, the 401K is in the tank, and our government has just saddled every man, woman, and child in the U.S. with over $3,000.00 each to bailout some financial geniuses that have screwed the pooch. That pooch being you and me folks.

Teason and conspiracy

We have police to make sure we obey the laws, do the right thing. We have all types courts so that people will get a lesson in “you can’t do that without paying the piper.” But where were the rules when all these financial companies were allowed to play loosely with our nations wealth? Who was asleep at the wheel? I don’t know about you but I want retribution: An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. If it means that George Bush is charged with negligence, that Chaney is charged with treason and conspiracy over the secret oil meetings, if it means that the whole damn congress, supreme court, and administration is tied to the pillars of our nation and whipped with our collective conscience cat-o-nine-tails, so be it. I want blood! I want satisfaction.

I am in no forgiving mood. I have elderly friends that are in desperate straights. After working all their lives, some fought in the sands of the Pacific Islands and some in the hedge rows of Europe, and this is what the Opie administration has handed them. What a cheap shot to the backbone of this nation. Yes sir, a kidney punch from behind.

Deregulation

When Bush was elected a massive dismantling of regulatory controls took place. Imagine that the investment and mortgage companies are a fifth grade class and one day the school administration removes the teacher telling the students “kiddies you are on your own!” Great job lobbyists, let’s get some rope and take care of you jokers that have raped our nation. Bet you don’t even feel any remorse. Why should you, you got paid for your dirty work just like a bunch of gun running merchants of death.

You owe $700,000,000,000

$700 billion to bailout fatcat companies that screwed up. When you make an error in finances do you get any help? When you are late paying your taxes because the government has seen to it that you will foot the bill for their lack of judgement and watching each others six, does anyone step up and help you out. Hell no! The IRS proceeds to charge you penalties and interest, and then threatens you with taking away all you possessions.

Promises

Now we have two persons running for president and basically telling you the same thing. Do you really believe that either McCain or Obama will keep one tenth of their campaign “I’m gonna do this” promises? They are feeding you what you want to hear. And guess what? They know you’ll forget nine out of ten promises made. Why? Because you do not hold their feet in the fire when they get to office.

Are you whiners?

This time, for once in your life, get up off all fours, stand upon your two legs like a real man or woman and demand that who ever is in office makes good on his promises. If you can’t do this then maybe goober Phil Graham was right when he said: “Americans are a bunch of whiners.” Are you?

bed time story…..peas porage and the bumbler nation

I'm the decider and I done ah, decided ah, I got this, ah mess cleaned up!

 

In a land that time forgot and then remember lived a Bumbler. Not that this is unusual for a majority of the land’s citizens were Bumblers. Being uniformed was a national pastime for the inhabitants of the realm. The style of dress for Bumblers was blinders as those worn by a four legged creature called by many names such as nag. These Bumblers also ate most of their foods preprocessed or from food distribution points called fast-food joints. Many of the Bumblers were rotund, lazy, lacked imagination, and generally were dimwitted making their living from the “what have you done for me lately” profession. They were also notorious for making mountains out of molehills and were divided into three classes; the lower, the middle, and the upper. It should be noted that the middle class being the largest of the classes was tasked with supporting the other classes.

Now the Bumbler we are most interested in was the leader of all the other Bumblers. This Bumbler was a male of the species, a rather nondescript and highly inarticulate individual; he was placed in a position of leadership because he mirrored the primary characteristics of the majority of the other Bumblers. Named Porage Blush, we’ll just call him Peas Porage to denote his position and given name (Bumblers called their leader The Peas), was considered really hot by a religious cult called Blown Asunder Crustaceans (BAC for short). Dogmatic book thumpers, the BAC’s were unwilling to think for themselves thus following a line of mythological group insanity that made decisions based on ancient lore, cult leader directions, and fear of the unknown.

Backed largely by the BAC’s, Peas Porage was placed in a position where he could create mass allusion with slight of mouth and the guidance from an evil gnome, the Vice Peas, Prick Cranky. Prick Cranky was agenda driven. The agendas to which he adhered were written by big oil companies, the industrial military complex, and hidden coalitions. Known for shooting friends, bad advice, and being The Puller of the Strings V-Peas, Prick Cranky was one of many instrumental in plunging the Bumbler Nation into the deep dark morass of War (actually it should have been called “Invasion of a Sovereign Nation” since no war has officially been declared) and World Condemnation. All the while the majority of Bumblers, led by the book thumping BAC’s, swallowed the swill of conjectured deceit stirred up through the black art of propaganda to feed an opiate of Hero worship to the masses. Heroes once occupied a special place in the minds of the Bumblers, however after a liberal, uh-oh, that should be a ‘conservative’ plastering of the term on anything and everything that moved to obscure The Peas and V-Peas dark intentions, Heroes took on a shallower connotation. Dogs began to be called Heroes even kids collecting pennies to save prairie grass were Heroes. Thus each member of the Bumbler Nation thought of their self as a Hero. A wave of self righteousness swept the kingdom. The Peas and V-Peas were happy. They smiled smugly as they watched the great mass of other Bumblers day dream their way to that altered state of Recession. It was a journey that took seven years. As Lemmings, the Bumblers rushed in a headlong calamity humming that old song “Pennies from Heaven” (a song written during a past recession once called a depression that was commissioned by the national government) as The Peas, V-Peas, and other Bumbler nation leaders performed Saukows of delusion on the ice rink of “Let’s Pat Ourselves on the Back”. Sometimes the leaders would even make a show of making a show. Double speak for “that was fun, let’s fool ‘em again.”

Finally the time to fake a vote for the next The Peas arrived. As usual a gaggle of egos stepped forward to offer their mythical qualifications for the position. They dusted off their tired old campaign gobbledy-gook, contributors lined up to get a favor from the sinner (strike that) winner, pontificating pundits, quaffed network news anchors, and other assorted know-it-alls paraded across the media outlets to tell the Bumblers what they thought Bumblers should know. And the Bumblers, true to the form, lapped it up like a pack of hungry mangy hounds at a bowl of spilled sour and clabbered milk. The egos and know-it-alls listened to the clamor and gnashing of teeth as the Bumbler masses licked and slurped up the drivel from the bowl of contentment.

The Peas smiled, the V-Peas smiled, all the contributors smiled, the swollen headed lobbyists smiled, even Little Orphan Annie smiled, the controlling oil conglomerates danced a jig of joy; they knew what Karl Marx had always known “Religion (sour clabbered milk) and political slight of mouth were the opiate of the Bumbler masses.” Satisfied the Bumbler Nation voted in the previously chosen one, swiped their credit cards, and resumed their plodding cattle to slaughter journey all the while murmuring, “Bumblers, we’re the real heroes.” Nothing changed. Bumblers made decisions on rhetoric filled with emotional context. They imagined they were somehow smarter, more civilized, and right (not the logical part of the brain).
